6 Ways To Style A Ruffle Neck Top

My business will be headed back to the office in a hybrid capacity in October so I’m in the process of auditing my work wardrobe. I’m keen to purchase pieces that will be versatile and inspire multiple outfits from office outfits to weekend casual. Here are 6 ways to style a ruffle neck top from Express.

This wild orchid color in the ruffle neck top from Express is stunning. Comes in 2 other colors. Wearing a size small. Some gapping for larger chests so I recommend sizing up.

A classic pairing the top tucked into a pair of flattering black pull on pants.

The Sarah Flint “The Perfect Pump” in classic black calf leather is my go-to work pump. Use code SARAHFLINT-BALEIGHA for $50 off your first pair.

Tucked the top into this $20 pencil skirt from H&M with a black and white tweed-inspired sweater blazer from Loft. The layering tones down the look for a more subtle pop of color for the office.

Hair back and sleeves rouched with a pair of high-waisted paper bag pants and nude pumps.

Jewlery and Accessories

Really like this for a Fall look to wear to the office. Would probably actually pair with some black tights underneath for late Fall/Early Winter. Definitely need a more casual office vibe to pull this look off.

Let’s be honest, we were all waiting for this more comfortable casual option for the office, am I right? As much as I want to be the person in pictures 1-4 and there are days for that. But other days, I feel like I just want a comfy pulled together look that I’m comfortable in all day. This is that look.

p.s. if your office is like the Arctic, like mine and may other office environments, might I suggest investing in this sweater blazer from J.Crew. It’s an investment piece but the color and quality make it a highly versatile piece that will be a real work horse for your workwear wardrobe.

My favorite day of the workweek, casual Friday. Paired with my favorite Madewell button front dark wash jeans. Super flattering. Also, if you want a pair of beautiful brown wedges that are next-level comfortable for all day wear – these Tory Burch ones are the best.
