Let’s face it, eating Keto requires a lot of prep work. For me to stay disciplined, I need a plan with snacks and meals that are convenient and easy to make. I have to run out the door most days and need some grab-and-go options for the office so I’m sharing my go-to keto lunch idea.
Half the time, I don’t even really regard my diet as “keto,” I’m more or less eating low carb and keeping my fats, sugar, and protein in mind with every meal. To be honest, I’m not a great cook nor do I have the patience to try out new recipes all the time so convenience is KEY for me so that’s why this is one of my favorite keto lunch ideas.

My Go-To Keto Lunch
Yep, this is it! It’s not fancy but it’s tasty. Hits all the right macros and keeps me full until I hit the gym or need to grab a quick snack. This is also my go-to keto lunch for work.
A Chocolate Premier Protein shake, 15 Pepperoni’s, 1-2 hard-boiled eggs (depending on how hungry I am) & a cheese stick. Does this look like something you might find in a kid’s lunch box? Yes! Does it satisfy my hunger, cravings and keep me satiated until my next meal? Yes!

For the pepperoni, I buy the pre-cut or cracker cut slices they have available in the deli. I like the Private Selection pepperoni from Kroger.
Some strick Keto folk don’t drink Premier Protein because it contains sucralose as the sweetener and the protein is a milk protein. I, personally, don’t mind the FEW less than ideal ingredients – but every person has their own preference. What you choose to put into your body is your own choice. However, if you’re looking for a great protein drink that’s low carb and doesn’t taste like chalk, you definitely want to try these.
Macros
I took a snapshot of the macros from MyFitnessPal so you could see the nutrition information. The 6.1 grams of carbs equal the total carbs. Subtract the 2 grams of fiber from the Premier Protein and this whole meal is 4.1 grams net carbs.

If you’re new to Keto or you’re looking for a way to reach your macros every day, I think this is a great keto lunch idea or even a one-off dinner idea. Personally, I like to eat salads for dinner or a lean protein with veggies but this is definitely in my rotation for a quick meal.
