Popped into Nordstrom Rack to shop for some new workwear. Like most, I work in an office for my 8-5 and need professional and transitional pieces in my wardrobe. I thought it would be fun to show me styling a Tahari blazer from work to weekend.
Some of the best advice I can give is to shop for clothes that can be styled in multiple ways so you get the best bang for your buck. I absolutely used to be one of those people bought an outfit or a specific piece of clothing and only wore it one way. If I bought a blazer to wear with a pair of pants, I wouldn’t wear it again until those pants came up in my rotation again. Honestly, it wasn’t until recently that I started maximizing my clothes and using my existing wardrobe to create new outfits.
Blazers are obviously a workwear staple. Whether you’re a desk ninja most of the day or a road warrior – bouncing in and out of meetings – a nice blazer will always be a savvy investment.
Work Look With Tahari Blazer

As you can see here, I’ve become a little bolder in my styling and really enjoy mixing prints and color palettes. I absolutely fell in love with this Tahari dusty blue blazer. It’s a really great quality piece year-round and adds a little color in a mostly dull office. I paired it with this Socialite v-neck scalloped cami and this flattering houndstooth pencil skirt. Throw on your favorite pair of black pumps and voila! By the way, these Steve Madden pumps are SO crazy comfortable. I could walk in them all day. They run TTS.
Okay, you’ve made the investment, now what? One simple swap and you’re off to the races. Whether you’re headed to brunch with the girls, date night, a weekend meeting or even church this is look is timeless.
See how easy it is to change the whole look of this outfit but still keep your style clean and classic.
Weekend Look With Tahari Blazer

Another way to style this blazer is over a cute summery dress or pair it with leggings and boots for a more Fall/Winter look.
Each of these pieces will be great additions to your wardrobe, whether you work in an office or not. They’re versatile, high-quality and great price points. Me styling a Tahari blazer from work to weekend is just one way to create a new look with something you probably already have in your closet and just needed some new outfit inspiration. I love the way you switched things up – the blazer looks amazing with jeans.
I’m loving it styled with jeans too!
I love me a good blazer. It goes with anything; formal or casual. I have this in black and blue. Such versatile pieces.
