Our work situations may all look a little different these days but whether you’re working from home or hustling into the office every day – you’ve still got your wardrobe to consider. I put together several work appropriate Valentine’s outfit ideas that offer a subtle homage to the holiday without being too obvious. These outfits were curated with mix and match pieces in mind so you can maximize your money and wardrobe.
Work Appropriate Valentine’s Outfit Ideas #1:
The pink tee should have space in your work wardrobe. It’s a casual, affordable clothing item that adds versatility, femininity, and color to workwear that can be sometimes boring. Paired the tee with these High-Waisted Barely Boot black slacks from Express.
I especially like this outfit for the work from home crowd. Swap the slacks for leggings and you’re golden. Added flats for a more casual look but you can easily pair with black or nude pumps to “pump it up.”

Same look but adding a monochromatic layer with a hot pink blazer. Personally, I think all women should have a hot pink blazer and channel their inner Elle Woods at the office but it’s not for everyone.
This look would definitely work with a basic black blazer as well so the pink is your only pop color.

If you wanted a little more subdued look and still want to rock the pink tee – tone it down with a white blazer. It’s a sophisticated yet feminine look that’s perfect for the office.

Sophisticated but edgy! I love popping leather into my workwear whenever possible. There’s just something about it that adds an air of classic elegance to an outfit. Paired here with a red pencil skirt.
Red is a power color in the office and I’ve had this in my wardrobe for years – I’m talking like 8 or 9 years – so it’ll be a savvy investment for you to pull out on just the right occasion at the office.

This is totally my work from home uniform. A button up with my favorite Spanx Faux Leather Leggings. You look put together for when you jump on a call and *surprise* let’s all turn on our cameras <yes, that’s happened to me multiple times> but you’re casual and comfortable as well.
Linked some various options at different price points for red flats. I love these but they’re a couple years old. I wear them to the office all the time because it’s a fun way to add a pop of color in an otherwise neutral outfit.

I love the black slacks from Express, and I love that you provided so many versatile mix and match options! I’m trying to maximize my wardrobe and making sure that each piece can pair with numerous things. 😊
They’re a great workwear staple! Thank you! I love finding ways to maximize pieces so you can get the most bang for your buck!
I love your style great selections, that leather top and red skirt is everything
thank you!
